Community Groups

 WHAT ARE COMMUNITY GROUPS?

Our desire is for everyone who attends Willowbrook to find lasting community within our church.

Community Groups are an essential part of the life at Willowbrook. Our groups are intentionally designed to not only give everyone a place to belong and be cared for, but also a place to be encouraged and strengthened in their journey with Jesus.

Our community groups  meet in five different local communities surrounding our Forest Lake area.  In addition, they meet on three different days of the week - Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. You can expect anywhere from 12 - 20 people at one of our homes during the week for conversation, a meal or dessert, and time around a great study that deals with real life situations that we face based on Biblical principals.  Each of our community groups last approximately 2 hours.  Some of our community groups feature child care while other groups do not.

Please note that in our community groups you will never be called upon to speak or to read or share your worst nightmare. We have trained facilitators that lead each of our groups and provide all of the instruction for the evening.

Ready to give it a try?   If so, simply click on THIS LINK and you will be instructed to answer a few questions.  Within a few days, one of our facilitators will give you a call to answer any questions that you might have before joining.  Nearly 75 percent of all of our adults at Willowbrook are involved in a community group!  That's impressive!

We hope to see you in one of our many community groups at Willowbrook!
